17hats can now automatically remind your clients about upcoming Online Scheduling bookings - taking that task off your plate and allowing you to focus on other parts of your business!

17hats allows you to automatically send an email reminder to your clients one day before an Online Scheduling booking and/or one hour before an Online Scheduling booking.


How it works

1.) Create your Online Scheduling service. This article will guide you through setting up your Service if you haven't already created one.

2.) The last section of the Online Scheduling service page now allows you to automatically send an email one day and/or one hour before the Online Scheduling Booking.

3.) If you already have a Reminder Email template created, you can select that template from the drop-down that says “Select a Reminder Email.”

Only “Scheduling Type” emails will appear on that drop-down. This article explains a bit more about different email types in 17hats.

4.) If you have not yet created a Reminder Email template, select the Create Reminder Email button and a pop-up window will appear for you to draft your new Reminder Email:

Pro-Tip: Use “Scheduling Tokens” in your Reminder Emails to automatically populate information like Booking Start Time!

If this is an Online Scheduling service that uses the 17hats Zoom Integration, add the token [scheduling] Location Address to automatically include the Zoom link in your Reminder Email.

Q: Are the emails sent exactly one day and one hour before the Booking?

A: The Automatic Reminder Emails will be sent approximately one day and one hour before the Online Scheduling booking - the timing is not exact.

Q: Do all of my Online Scheduling services need to have reminders?

A: No, you can turn Automatic Reminders on or off for each service.

Q: If a Booking is rescheduled, will the Automatic Reminder Emails be sent for the new day and time?

A: Yes! 17hats will Automatically adjust the day and time of the Reminder Emails.

Q: If a Project is Archived, will the Reminder Emails still go out?

A: Yes, if the Booking has not been canceled, the Reminder Emails will still go out.

Q: If my Online Scheduling service requires Confirmation, will Reminder Emails go out if I don't confirm the booking?

A: No, Reminder Emails will only go out for Confirmed Bookings.
