Tags are a vital feature to be able to filter contacts and projects. Using Tags, you can assign projects to particular team member/user, easily find contacts that all have the same tag, or search projects all for one company but with different primary contacts.
There are two types of tags you can create, Contact Tags and Project Tags.
Where are Tags Added?
Contacts tags can be applied within the contacts profile record:
And project tags can be applied within the project details section:
Where do I search my tags?
When searching for tags, you will need to be sure you're within in the appropriate page.
Contact tags can be found on the main contact overview page.
Project tags can be found on the main project overview page.
You can also see a list of tags in your Recent Client Activity Page. To access this, click on the "see all activity" link for the Recent Client Activity section on your dashboard.
You'll then be able to use the "tags" drop down to view a list of tags with the filter options:
While you will be able to view all tags, there is not a way to delete or manage them at this time.
