Lead Capture Forms (LCFs) allow you to automate the population of interested customers into 17hats. 

There are two ways you can capture leads. First, you can create a form and install it on your website, Facebook, and other areas you gather new customers. The second way is to create a Lead Capture Email Rule. Using the email rule allows you to capture leads from WeddingWire, The Knot, and Showitfast websites. 

This article will walk you through the steps to create your first Lead Capture Form. 

To begin building your Lead Capture Form, go to your Leads page. You’ll be prompted to create your first form using the pre-created form provided. 

So you know which form a lead came from, update the Form Title to the location the form will be installed or linked. For example, if you’re going to connect a form to your website, name it “Contact Me Website Page.” If you’re going to create a form to gather Facebook leads, call it “Facebook Page.” 

Add or update the questions you want to include, then click the “create form” button. While you can ask as many questions as you’d like on your Lead Capture Form, we recommend asking only four to six questions. We recommend asking:

You’ll then be prompted to install your form, add a lead, or go to the Lead Overview. For this article, click the “Go to Lead Overview.” This will give you a list view of all your Leads moving forward. 

To get to your Lead Capture Forms, click on the “Lead Capture Form” button on the top right. 

You’ll see the form you just created and be able to edit the form details, questions, or create additional forms as needed.
