Your lead capture form by default will have black text, a white background, and the button color that you have selected from within your account settings.
Depending on your website (or wherever you may be displaying your form), these colors may not be ideal, or perhaps you just want to spice things up a bit! You may do this from within the lead capture form itself.
Edit the colors in your Lead Capture Form | Step-by-step
Step 1) Open the "Leads" sub-menu
Find the arrow (shown below) and click to open the "Leads" sub-menu.
Step 2) Open your Lead Capture Form(s)
Select "Capture Forms" from the Leads sub-menu as shown below.
Step 3) Select the Lead Capture Form you wish to edit
Select the form you wish to edit as shown below. Keep in mind that form colors are a form-by-form basis, meaning, you'll want to follow the steps below for each form you wish to change.
Note: For members who have not yet created a 17hats Lead Capture Form:
After clicking "Capture Forms" (Step 2), you should see a list of all of the Lead Capture Forms found within your 17hats Account, however, if you don't have any Lead Capture Forms, you'll see something like the image below.
If you see the image below, you'll want to click the green "Create Form" button in the lower-right corner, followed by "Go to Lead Overview" on the following screen.
From there, revisit Step 2, and continue onward.
Step 4) Open the Lead Capture Form "Edit" Menu
To open the Lead Capture Form Edit Menu, find the "Edit" button near the top-right corner, and click "Edit" > "Edit" as shown below.
Step 5) Edit the Lead Capture Form colors
Scroll to the bottom of the Lead Capture Form "Edit" menu to find/change the colors used in the Lead Capture Form.
You may now use the color picker to select each specific color of your choice. For a more precise color selection, you may also enter the hex code directly into the field (#62a4d1 for example). If you would like your background color to be transparent, you may check off that option (directly above the color picker).
Note: Want to add even more efficiency? Check out the "Copy" button shown below! The "Copy" button allows you to copy your global form colors into this Lead Capture Form! Learn more about setting up your global "Brand Preferences" here.
Step 6) Save!
When you're happy with the changes you've made, be certain to click the "Save" button found in the lower-right corner.
Step 7) (Optional) Duplicate the Form
But what if you want to use the same form with multiple color schemes (perhaps one for Facebook and one for your website)? The best way to achieve this would be to create a second Lead Capture Form which is identical to the original. Once your original form is established exactly how you would like it, simply locate the "Edit" button near the top-right and select "duplicate" to create a carbon copy:
You may then modify your duplicated form with the new color scheme and voilà! You now have two identical Lead Capture Forms each with their own color scheme. The only thing left to do now is watch the new business roll in!
Step 8) (Optional) View the Form
Curious as to how your form looks? Simply click "View Form" to see!
