To connect your Google Gmail, please make sure that the email address you are connecting to is provided through Gmail/GSuite, and not forwarded to Gmail (where you read/reply). The original email provider needs to be used to connect to 17hats.

Incoming Mail Server

Click "Connect Account" to bring up your Email Sync dialog window.

Email Provider: Select "Google Gmail" in the dropdown
Login: Be sure to type in the Email Address used to log into your Google Account, not an Alias email address.

Once you click "connect" you will be taken to Google to accept permissions for that Google Gmail Account. Be sure to accept the authentication/permissions.

Once connected, you will be routed back to 17hats where you will see your Incoming Email has now connected, along with your Outgoing Email.

* This feature may not be available on all plan types.

Outgoing Mail Server

If you already connected your Incoming Email Account in 17hats, the Outgoing should automatically connect to your Google Gmail Account.

If you wish to change the settings, click "Change Outgoing Server" to connect to a different email provider, or use the 17hats Outgoing Server.

To connect your Google Gmail Account as your Outgoing Server, use the following settings:

Email Provider: Select "Google Gmail" in the dropdown.
Login: Be sure to type in the Email Address used to log into your Google Account, not an Alias email address.

Once you click "connect" you will be taken to Google to accept permissions for that Google Gmail Account. Be sure to accept the authentication/permissions.

Once connected, you will be routed back to 17hats where you will see your Outgoing Email is now connected.
