Many 17hats members have multiple businesses or 'brands' that they would like to manage separately. 17hats offers the ability to manage ALL linked brands with ease using a single master login.
The Brand feature is intended to allow members to manage the various businesses they own in one place. For example, a design firm that does both website and social media design may want to have multiple brands so all their documents and other items are branded for their set purpose.
Creating a Linked Brand Account
Adding another brand is quick, easy, and can be completed on any page.
To get started, click your logo or initials on the top right-hand side of the page.
Next, use the dropdown that appears and select the "Create New brand" option.
This is also where you will be able to switch between all of your accounts at a later time once you have more than 1 brand.
The second way to add a brand is to go to your My Account Info page. To access this page, click the gear icon on the top right of the page. Then, scroll to the bottom of the page and click the "add brand" button.
A pop-up will appear to guide you through the new brand creation process:
Once you create the new brand, you'll be taken to the account to further setup the brand.
Switching between Brands
To switch between your Brands, click the icon in the top right corner of the page. If you have uploaded a Logo on the Brand Preferences page > Images tab, you'll click your logo. If you haven't uploaded a logo yet, the icon will be a grey circle with two letters in it:
Pro Tip: If you want to view both Brands at the same time, you must have one Brand open in a regular window and the other in an incognito window, or in a different browser. All tabs open in a browser will be switched when you use the Brand Switcher. Remember, you must be an Owner, Admin or Team Member user on the Users page of both brands in order to switch between them.
Removing a Brand
If you would like to delete a Linked Brand, you can do so from your My Account Info page.

- Linked Brands are only available on Standard, Premier, and Founding Member legacy accounts.
- The Standard plan does not include any Additional Users or Linked Brands in the base cost.
- The Premier plan includes two Additional Users (or 3 Users, total) and one Linked Brand (or 2 Brands, total) in the base cost.
- Founding Member legacy accounts include a total of 4 Linked Brand accounts and 4 unique Additional Users across all Brands. More Linked Brand slots are available beyond this limit at a cost of $10/month/each; more Additional User slots are available at a cost of $5/month/each.
