When a Lead or Client schedules a service through Online Scheduling a Contact and Project will automatically be created in 17hats. The Project Management section will help you better manage the created Project.
You can add Contact and Project Tags, Remove Project Tags (Standard and Premier Members) and define how you want the Project organized.
Contact & Project Tags:
While Tagging is optional, we highly recommend it The functionality of adding Contact and Project Tags is available in all 17hats Packages, the ability to Remove Tags is only available in our Standard, Premier, and Founding members.
Removing tags is especially important if you plan to use 17hats Pipelines.
Project Creation & Selection For Existing Contacts:
17hats can automatically create a Contact and Project with each new Contact that books with you.
For existing Contacts within the 17hats platform, you have three choices to where you want the booking to be placed.
Create a New Project | A new Project will be created and the booking event will be placed within it. |
Add it to the last project | The booking event will be placed in the last active Project for the Contact. If there is not a Project created for the contact, a new Project will be created. |
Add to originating Project | If the online scheduling URL is sent from the contact's 17hats Project via email, the new booking will be added directly to that Project.
If a Project does not exist for the booking contact, a new Project will be created. Is someone books who is not a contact in the 17hats platform, than a new Contact and Project will be created. |
Update Project Date to Booking Time
When the Booking is added to the Project it will be added as an Event and will not change the Project date.
โ
However, you can opt to have the Booking date, time, and location replace the Project details. All you need to do is enable Update Project Date to Booking Time.
If your Project has an existing Project date, that date will still be accessible as an Event inside your Project.
