The Service Time Frame is a combination of the Service Time and the Buffer Times for the service booked.

Time Buffer Before Appointments

If you need time before your appointment to review, prep, and organize for the booking, you might want to add buffer time before the appointment.

ProTip: Buffer time before appointments will not apply to the first appointment for the availability rule.

Time Buffer After Appointments

If you need time to take notes or clean between appointments, give yourself a time buffer after the booking.

If you add a 5 minute Time Buffer Before and 5 minute Time Buffer After, you will have 10-minutes between appointments.

Service Start Time:

This is an important setting, especially if your service is not ending exactly on the hour. New appointments can start on the quarter hour, on the half hour, on the hour, or immediately after the previous appointment (buffer time included).

Continuous Start Time

This means when one timeframe starts the next one will automatically begin.

Example: If the service is a 20 minute service with 5 minute buffer afterwards, the times available for booking will be at 1:00, 1:25, 1:50.

If you are cross checking calendars, continuous Start Time also plays nicely with other events on your calendars.

Example:

Service - 40 minutes without buffer times.

Availability Rule - 10 am to 12pm.

Doctors appointment on your personal calendar at 10:45- 11:15 am.

When your personal calendar is cross checked against your Availability Rule the available time slots will be as follows:

10-10:40 and 11:20 - 12:00

The 10:40 - 11:20 slot is removed due to your dr appointment.
