When you sync your bank account into 17hats, the program will show the name of the account that the bank sends to our banking partner.  Sometimes this bank account name may be vague, such as "Business Account", or "Visa". You may want to rename it, so that you are more clear on which accounts are which.

To rename your bank account as it is displayed within 17hats, follow these easy steps.

1. Go to My Account > Account Settings > Bookkeeping Options. You can also click here to be taken to the page if you're already signed into your 17hats account.

2. Click on the triangle icon, next to the account you wish to rename. Select the "Rename" option displayed

3. After clicking on "Rename" a pop-up window will appear that allows you to change the account name.

4.  Type in the name you would like to show, and then click on "Update".  This new account name will also show on the Bookkeeping page now.
