17hats has two different types of Workflows: Basic and Advanced.
Advanced Workflows are available on the Premier Level of Membership. Advanced Workflows allow you to automate sending emails, Documents, and several other actions to give you back more time in your day!
Basic Workflow are available on the Standard Level of Membership, which allow you to automate regular emails and To-Do reminders to yourself or any Users.
The Essentials Level does not offer any Workflow functionality.
Standard Level: Basic Workflows
To Do: Give yourself (or a User) a reminder of a task that needs to be completed by a certain time! They will appear on your Dashboard to remind you when they are due; then, you can check them off as you complete them!
Email Action: This allows you to automate sending a regular email, such as a reminder email for an event! This does not include emails with Documents such as Quotes, Contracts, Invoices, or Questionnaires attached. For these, you can create a To-Do reminder to remind yourself to create and send that document manually!
Premier Level: Advanced Workflows
To Do: Give yourself (or a User) a reminder of a task that needs to be completed by a certain time! They will appear on your Dashboard to remind you when they are due; then, you can check them off as you complete them!
Action: This allows you to automate several actions within your business instead of spending time doing them manually. The list of Actions available in Level 3 is as follows:
Send an Email
Send a Questionnaire
Send a Quote
Send a Contract
Send an Invoice
Start a Workflow
Change Calendar
Confirm the Booking (OS)
Archive the Project
Add/Remove Tags
Pause: A Pause step works pretty much like To Dos, but when a Workflow reaches a "Pause" item, it will not continue with any step after it until the Pause has been checked off.
