To connect your Office365 email account, please make sure that the email address you are connecting to is provided through Office365. The original email provider needs to be used to connect to 17hats.

Incoming Mail Server

1.) If the Office365 email address you're connecting was used as an Incoming Email previously, please delete the existing Office365 connection by clicking the arrow on the right of the page and then "delete."

If you have no existing connections, move to step 2.

2.) Click "Connect Account" on the right to bring up your Email Sync dialogue window.

Email Provider: Select "Office 365" in the dropdown
Login: Be sure to type in the Email Address used to log into your Office365 Account

3.) Click the green "Connect" button.

Once you click "connect" you will be taken to Office365 to accept permissions for that Office365 Account. Be sure to accept the authentication/permissions.

Please note: If you are signed in to a different Microsoft account in this browser, the account you connect in 17hats will also change the account you are signed into in the browser. This is due to cookies, but you will now be able to switch accounts from the top right corner of your Microsoft inbox page.

Once connected, you will be routed back to 17hats where you will see your Incoming Email has now connected.

* This feature may not be available on all plan types.

Outgoing Mail Server

To connect your Office365 Account as your Outgoing Server, use the following settings:

1.) Click "Change Outgoing Server" on the right to bring up your Email Sync dialogue window.

Email Provider: Select "Office365" in the dropdown.
Login: Be sure to type in the Email Address used to log into your Office365 email account.

2.) Click the green "Connect" button.

Once you click "connect" you will be taken to Office365 to accept permissions for that email account. Be sure to accept the authentication/permissions.

Once connected, you will be routed back to 17hats where you will see your Outgoing Email is now connected.
