How to setup texting in 17hats Brands

Each brand you manage in 17hats must have its own registration and dedicated phone number for texting.

‼️ Important Limitations

  • You cannot start registration for a second brand while a different brand is still in the submission process.

  • Each brand’s registration is independent — even if they are part of the same overall business.

How to Start Registration for a Second Brand

  1. Navigate to the Texting Section within your second brand in 17hats.

  2. You will be asked to select one of two options:

    Option 1: Brand is associated with an existing business already approved by The Campaign Registry (TCR).

    • Choose this if the second brand shares the same EIN as a previously approved brand.

    • You will only need to submit your campaign details.

    Option 2: Brand is a completely new business with a different EIN.

    • Choose this if the brand has a different EIN from the one already on file with TCR.

    • You will need to register both the brand (business) and the campaign.

Pricing for Multiple Brands

Each brand has its own:

  • One-time setup fee for brand/campaign submission

  • Monthly texting package ($10/month) which includes:

    • Leasing of that brand’s dedicated phone number

    • 100 text messages per month*

Because each brand has its own phone number and texting plan, these costs are billed separately for each brand.

* Note: Text messages are counted in message fragments, not actual sent/received messages. A single long message may be split into multiple fragments, each counting toward your monthly total.
