In order to connect your bank account, you can do so by navigating to "Bookkeeping" and clicking on the gear in the upper right, and selecting "Connect Bank Account"
OR:
Go to "Account Settings", and then "Bookkeeping Options".  Then select "Connect Account".  Next search for your bank account.  When you find your bank account, be sure to click on it and then follow the connection prompts.

When trying to find your bank, please try all possible variations of your bank name. For example, "RBC" vs "Royal Bank".  Sometimes searching on the origin of a bank helps, like adding "Canada" or "UK" to the end for instance. 

For example: typing "TD Bank of Canada"

Or typing "TD Bank"

If for some reason your bank is not supported, you can import your statements using .qbo or .ofx files and take full advantage of our bookkeeping module.

Once your bank is selected you will undergo an authorization process, giving permission for 17hats to access your transactions. You will be required to login with your online banking information. Follow the screen prompts to complete the connection process.

Depending on your bank's policies, you may have to undergo additional steps to authenticate each time you want to refresh your feed.
