HAR stands for HTTP Archive and is a container for trace information from within a browser. It records all web requests made by the browser tab (including the request & response headers, the body, and the time it look to load). This makes HAR files very useful when troubleshooting issues you may be seeing in your account. To clarify, the HAR file will only collect HTML/JAVA browsing activity; it is not recording video, audio, or your login credentials. ย

Below are some instructions about how you can easily generate a HAR file using Google Chrome. If you do not already have Google Chrome installed, please download it here and install it .

  6. Click the Clear button to clear out any existing logs from the Network tab.

  7. Now try to reproduce the issue that you were experiencing before, while the network requests are being recorded.

  8. Once you have reproduced the issue, right click anywhere on the grid of network requests, select Save as HAR with Content , and save the file to your computer.

  9. Upload your HAR file to your chat or attach it to an email and send it to: Support@17hats.com, so that we may analyze it.
